“Dust” for iPhone

OK, this is still awaiting review, but should hopefully be out any day, so I’m going to start hyping it. http://www.bit-101.com/dust/ My first full iPhone app. Open GL ES 10,000 particles at 60 fps and runs beautifully. $0.99. that’s $0.000099 per particle! What a deal! I’ll let you know when it’s ready for purchase. (translate)

New Swiz 0.0.5 for the New Year!

Happy New Year all! You may have noticed I've been on a bit of a blogging holiday, but after a productive for Christmas/new years, I've released a new build of Swiz over at our googlecode site! I was hoping to make a release earlier this week, but decided to take a little extra time to restructure the repository so I could include dependencies and project files to make it easier to build Swiz from source. So what's in this shiny new build? We've got two major features, and a bunch of bug fixes, which I'll list out at the end (translate)

Sometimes when I'm sitting at my desk working, or driving around town, or doing something mindless like mowing the lawn, I think about things happening that would really suck. Sort of a deja vu kind of thing. I'm willing to bed you do this too. Perhaps you seem misfortune thrust upon someone and you think: "Wow, glad that didn't happen to me." I was trying to register for the Adobe Max Conference in Japan for me and my girlfriend, and I ended up almost tearing my hairs out. Every once in awhile, I come across AIR apps that sound really neat, but I always hesitate to install them. This can be a problem, because I get paid to do AIR development. I'd like to have a Delete button in a DataGrid column, and when that button is clicked, that row of the DataGrid is removed. (translate)
